The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert

This movie is very odd and very funny. It stars Hugo Weaving, Guy Pearce, and Terence Stamp. Hugo Weaving is Mitzi, a drag queen who heads across Australia to visit her exwife, who needs some help with something. She takes along fellow queen Felicia(Guy Pearce) and the transexual Bernadette(Terence Stamp). They travel through the outback in a big lavender bus name Priscilla. Along the way they encounter strange little towns, bizaare people, and even weirder situations. Some things I should warn you about are the bizaare pingpong girl(cover your eyes if perverted people scare you) and Felicia's Abba turd(don't ask). I absolutly love this movie! It's one of my alltime favorites. The music is very disco-y yet good, the acting is good, and very well directed. Go see this now!

Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Everyone should see this movie or have at least heard of it. I mean come on, who hasen't heard of Monty Python? Only the people who have no life. This movie is very funny. My favorite scenes are the black night, the castle in the swamp, and the killer rabbit. This movie takes the legend of King Arthur and goes tripping with it. The people at my school are obsessed with it and started quoting it to my japanese teacher. She had no clue what they were talking about. It stars Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin. The special edition dvd has tons of extras, including how to use your coconuts, monty python and the holy grail in lego, and monty python and the holy grail in japanese.
